Alternatives to Mantle Plume theory

I am currently working on a small paper on mantle plumes. Im looking for tips on “the other side” – prominent articles or writers that oppose the theory in perticular or general. I am having trouble locating this since I dont really have any names to go on – if they even exist still today – I dont know!

Any kind of suggestions on this is appreciated.

Two names that spring to mind are Don Anderson and Gillian Foulger. Probably, though, you should just check out mantleplumes.org.

Mantle plumes is the best resource as Chris says. You can also try various Expanding Earth websites, as they often imbibe alternative versions to mantle plumes in their ‘models’. Try the Expanding Earth Consortium, though make sure you don’t get sucked into their weird, wacky world!
